Reentry publishes contributed and sponsored articles from writers, researchers, and companies working on orbit and frontier tech. Here is what we look for and how to pitch.
What we publish
We take clear, sourced writing on satellite reentry, space debris, orbital operations, launch and satellite technology, and the frontier-tech beats we cover, such as computing and space policy. The best pitches teach a reader something specific and back every claim with a source. Explainers, well-reported features, and informed analysis all fit. A strong contributed piece reads like the rest of the site: plain, accurate, and honest about what is known.
Who should pitch
Freelance science and technology writers, engineers and researchers who can write for a general audience, and companies with a genuine story to tell about their work in space or deep tech. You do not need a long list of credits. You do need to know the subject and to write cleanly. If you work in the field, tell us, since first-hand knowledge strengthens a piece.
How to pitch
Email editor@reentrynews.com with a short outline: the working title, the angle in two or three sentences, the sources you will draw on, and a link to something you have written before if you have one. For a sponsored or contributed post, say so up front and name any company you represent. We reply to pitches we want to run, and we edit for accuracy and house style before publishing.
What we do not accept
We turn down thinly disguised advertising, unsourced claims, hype without evidence, and anything that would mislead a reader. Sponsored and contributed articles are labelled clearly and held to the same accuracy standard as our own reporting, so a piece that cannot support its claims will not run, paid or not. We do not publish content that misrepresents an affiliation with a space agency, and we do not add links or claims a source cannot back up.
