Report suspected debris

If you have found something you believe fell from orbit, your first call should be to local authorities, not to us. Do not touch or move the object, since surviving hardware can hold residual propellant or sharp edges. Photograph it, note the location, and contact local police or your national space agency. We are glad to hear about confirmed cases for our recovered debris catalogue, but safety and the official record come first.
